Students will select a book which will be read and analyzed for better comprehension.
Students will write persuasive essays, short stories, song lyrics and other creative works.
Students will read about various pop culture figures and events and discuss the cultural significance of them.
Students will have a round table discussion with peers and share hopes, dreams and goals for the future.
Students will discuss newsworthy topics and their significance in today's world.
Students will learn about various instruments and important musical literature.
Students will learn about the physical world that we live in and explore the mysteries of the universe. Astronomy, chemistry, biology, meteorology and paleontology will all be explored. Hands on experiments will be performed whenever possible.
Students will learn functional math skills and how they apply to the world around them.
Students will learn about the wonders of the human body and all of its complex systems.
